Functional English Literacy

No physical health with unhealthy mind. Livelihood support may be sufficient but when refugees are struggling with PTSD and symptoms of trauma they engage in maladaptive cope strategies and the livelihood support will not make remarkable impact. To make positive and visible impact among refugees RWF strengthens the livelihood activities by providing Mental Health and Psychosocial support services such as Individual therapeutic Support service, Self-Help+ which is a Group-Based Stress Management program.

RWF also Trains peer counselors to equip them with basic MHPSS skills to support fellow refugees.
